Now open your eyes… you’re here! The Plough a real ale pub in Prestbury, sitting alongside St. Mary’s Church, was built in the 17th Century and still retains many of it’s original features adding to its charm. Beamed walls and ceilings, stone flagged floors and a huge fireplace adorned with log fires in winter time are impressive.
Real Ale… Good Food
Add to this a fine selection of real ales and wines, honest good pub food, live folk musicians on a Thursday evening, plus a warm welcome from the manager Cathy Richards and staff means you are hopefully guaranteed a memorable visit.

Family Friendly Garden
If it’s a family friendly pub garden you are looking for, the Plough’s garden is huge and a truly beautiful sight in the Spring & Summer.. Adorned with well established shrubs, bushes and fruit trees it positively hums, awash with flowers of many colours. On warm sunny days (here’s hoping!) the garden gets very busy with families all enjoying themselves together.
